I am jealous. I hope to see some bear where I live in Middle Creek Township. I have seen deer, but no bear yet.

the bear isnt an escapee from the museum and actually
they spotted a bear on the loose at the museum yesterday morning, they evacuated for a while but never caught the bear. a bear (same one? diff one? hard to know) was spotted today, very close to where the original bear sighting occurred (off of berini). the person who spotted the bear called 911 right away, but 30 minutes later, no police or animal control showed up. today, wral.com had photos taken by the lady who saw a bear destroying her bird feeder, i think those photos were taken in the last day or two. that bear looked young (not a baby, but not an adult) and verrrrry skinny. this bear is obviously very hungry, he tore up the ladies bird feeder! he also looked different than the other pic that wral had, but that was a pic of a bear heading back into the woods, so it wasnt a detailed pic. i hope they catch the bear soon, for the bears sake....and especially because if he gets near i85, he will no doubt cause a wreck.

Why should they catch it??
They don't "catch" all the other wildlife.

my thought was it would be a catch/release, for the bears own protection. presuming its the same bear, an update:
