Anyone seen it. Apparently, my girlfriend has a real affinity for this stuff and we've looked at all major grocers and have not found it (a few say they carry it on their website, but it's not in the store). I know I can ask a manager to stock it, and it may come to that, but was wondering if anyone knows where to find it first?

Call me practical, but I'd rather by my girl some jelly, then a dozen roses that are only going to dry up and die.

According to their site, you should try Food Lion, Kroger, Publix and Target. I feel like I've seen it at Target, but I can't say 100% for sure.

You can really impress her and make your own jam.
It's not hard at all, and it's still fresh strawberry season.

I like the way you think. I cook for her all the time (and she seems to like it). But it would just "work" if I could hand her a jar of what she's looking for. It's just "one of those things".

As for the list above, I've checked all but Target. I will check them next, but I'm almost wondering if I need to get Burt Reynolds and Jerry Reed to bring me a truckload of that stuff back from West of the Mississippi or something.

STRAWBERRIES, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORN SYRUP, FRUIT PECTIN, CITRIC ACID.

That's the ingredients.... I personally do not support companies who use sub par ingredients in my food.

Really surprise your girlfriend and make your own. Strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. I don't use pectin personally, and I can guarantee it tastes better than anything you buy at the store. Strawberry season is in full swing right now too. Easy to make, saves money, tastes better, better for you, and support a local farmer. It takes about an hour or so to make and will make your house smell amazing.

No one is asking you to.

He's trying to do something nice for his girlfriend. She likes a particular jam. We don't know her reasons for liking a particular jam. Maybe her reasons are sentimental. The fact that he has listened to her and taken note that she likes that particular jam will probably mean more than making a jam that she may or may not like as much as her favored brand.

It can't be only west of the Mississippi because we had it in WI. I dont recall seeing it here, but then again, it isnt something I was looking for, but online shopping is so convenient; at least you can still get it, unlike the perishable items my kids want from back home. Good luck!!

Correct. I appreciate the sentiments about making it (would be my preference), but this is for her.

I'll either buy it online, or pick it up next time I'm in CA (which will be a while). If anyone has an actual KFSJ sighting in the triangle, I hope you'll post up.

I'm going shopping today and promise to look for it. I know what your talking about and am surprised you can't find it. I had first posted that Cracker Barrel had it but it's Dickinson after I went to their website to check.
