Where are you going to see fireworks this weekend for the 4th?
I know there are tons of places to catch a fireworks show, but where are you going and why? In previous years I have caught the fireworks after a Durham Bulls game. This year I think I will try and see them at a Carolina Mudcats game (if there are still tickets left). My first year here in 2005 I saw the fireworks at the State Fairgrounds. It was a great show but getting out of the parking lot over at the Art Museum was tough.
Here is a cool shot of fireworks at the Mudcats Stadium taken by the folks at Raleighskyline.com: Link to Picture
So where will you go to catch cool fireworks show?

We will go to either the Koka Booth Ampitheatre or the Fairgrounds.
It's up to HER.
Yep. Exit traffic at the fairgrounds is tough.

We'll watch the ones put off over at Symphony Lake in Cary, but we won't be anywhere near the crowds.

You might want to try parking on Beryl road facing east near the Arboretum. We used to always park there when a was a kid and you could see the fireworks just a good as any where but could get out real easy down Beryl to Method to Western Blvd or just straight down Hillsborough after getting off Beryl. Or leave your car there and walk back after it is over.

You'll be in my neck of the woods.
If you don't make it to the game on the 4th, they'll have another display on the 5th, as well as every Friday night home game.

I've heard that there's a neat show over the battleship in Wilmington, so that's my plan this year.

The emerald isle fireworks show like every year.
Except this year the town isn't allowed to use the Bogue Inlet Pier so it's at McLean Park
Interesting little scuffle going on:
Bogue Inlet Pier : Unfair Sign Ordinance
