I would imagine that it would turn out not too much different in texture than the fried Coca Cola.

Funny thing is, people are heavily debating all over the internet right now (and in local news outlets as well) whether this is bryozoa or tubifex worms! My vote is with tubifex...I think.

I know the guy who is investigating this for the city, so I'm sure I'll hear about what it really is at some point.

I got an inside scoop on the "Sewer Monster".

First off, the line that is in the video is not a city line, but a privately owned and maintained line in Cameron Village. The pipe is only about 6" in diameter - much smaller than the cavernous impression you get from the footage.

And yes, they are just worms, not alien life forms!
