Anyone looking at KB should take a look here: HomeOwners for Better Building - Home

A quick google search turns up all sorts of complaints about KB. While I don't doubt many people have had good experiences and are happy with their KB homes, all that noise has to be about something.

I have had a KB home (Chastain) and am now living in an Anderson. If you want more house for the buck - KB gives you that....very large floorplans on teeny tiny lots....Anderson I believe guarantees at least a 1/4 acre lot with each house (in Cobblestone anyway). We were lucky enough to get a lot size that is close to 1 acre and a fairly large house (for us anyway) on it. Energy Star did come as an upgrade and I am glad we did it...! My electric/gas bill is the same as it was with my KB Home which was half the size this Anderson home is. Hated the popcorn ceiling with KB, smooth ceilings were un upgrade. Dual sinks in the master is standard with Anderson (it came standard on my 2nd bathroom too), not with KB. However, carpet is the standard but their standard padding is a higher grade than normal. Ferrickhead28 got the model so he got all the nice upgrades as standard! Lucky you!Love it here...love the neighborhood!
