Speaking of churches, Dr. Jeremiah is by far the preacher with whom I best connect. When he came to the RBC Center, he had a packed house, yet I don't know a soul who watches and listens to him.
Is there a church in Cary or the rest of the Triangle with a minister of the same style and demeanor as Dr. Jeremiah? (If you like Jeremiah like I do, you will understand the question!) I think he has the bible memorized. The organization of his lessons is simply phenomenal.
He is Southern Baptist, but I'm not hung up on denominations. If you are a fan of Dr. Jeremiah, and if you have any recommendations, please pass them along. Thanks!!
Other than reading some of his books, and subscribing to his daily devotions, I don't know a lot about Dr. Jeremiah's preaching technique.... but I do like the way he presents the faith, at least in writing.
We go to Journey Church, and just LOVE it! I could listen to Pastor Jimmy all day without my mind wandering for even one second. Sunday cannot roll around fast enough
Not sure what the connection is, other than I really enjoy listening to them both!
I have seen Dr. Jeremiah preach many times when he would speak in chapel at my college (we share the same alma mater, Cedarville University). I would think Colonial (Cary), Providence (N Raleigh), or Southbridge (Brier Creek) would be the most similar.
