I really miss Walter Reeves Gardening TV and radio shows. He is possibly the best known andl oved gardener in Georgia. I love UNC TV programming but I'm very disappointed with the local gardening show. It is obvious and he has even said, the host is no gardener. So what local or national show do you watch if you are a gardener?

I don't have cable and am slowly discovering what's on hulu.com. Their gardening offerings look interesting (many from hgtv, my favorite cable channel):

I love that show, he makes gardening informative and FUN! I love his sense of humor about mundane things!

Listen to "The Weekend Gardener" on WPTF 680AM Radio every saturday form 8-10.

There are a few local gardening shows on UNC-TV. I don't know what they are called but they are usually hosted by from NC State Extension. There are also many syndicated gardening shows like Victory Garden on UNC TV.

Another fan of Gardening by the Yard here. We also like Almanac Gardener on UNC-TV.

I like Almanac Gardener, The Victory Gardener, A Gardeners Diary...there was this show about perennials back in the day as well. Most showed on PBS or HGTV. HGTV has absolutely NO "G" on it anymore. ugh.
