U14 boys AAU basketball teams to join (Chapel Hill: chapel, area)

Our son really wants to try out for an AAU basketball team. Does anyone know of a team looking for players in the Chapel Hill, NC area or have contact names/numbers we can try?

On the same note: Does anyone know of a personal coach out there that may assist in some one on one basketball coaching for the remainder of the summer?

Kevin Nunley from Networks Basketball does one on one coaching. We are looking for an AAU team for our 14 1/2 year old son in north raleigh.

I would suggest that you contact the NC Gater AAU program. Their website is www.gateraau.com They have several teams and their teams have been featured over the years in the Chapel Hill News. There was even a blurb in this past Sunday's Chapel Hill News re: their 17u team. I have heard that their 14u team has been very competitive over the years as the team has 'aged up' through the ranks. Looking at the Gater website, I believe the 14u coach is Steve Himmlberg (919) 949-5987. I hope this helps.
