It seems to me this year has been cooler than last year, I only burned thru 1050 kwh on the Progress Energy bill for mid-June to mid-July. The nights seem more pleasant as well. Anyone else think the same?

I think this Summer has been more typical of an average Summer. This is especially noticeable after a few really, really hot Summers.

I agree with rnc2mbfl. The summer has been just about right! Couple of years ago when the drought was sucking all the water from Falls Lake was not normal to say the least and 'least' is the operative word too!

The summer for me so far has been the 'most' to say the least!

Ups and downs in weather cycles at a regional level do not make a case for or againest global warming.

One mild summer, which this has been, in The Triangle does not mean much on a global scale either way.

Perhaps you didn't notice the "wink" symbol after his/her post. It was a joke.

Loving it here too! Anything under 90 is not that hot to me!

I'm new to NC, but I can say that I haven't run my AC at night once this year! Have I been warm? Yes, but not enough to warrant turning it on overnight. I definitely expected to be running it a lot more than this! No complaints here!
