I need a recommendation for a central air technician asap. Our upstairs zone stopped cooling about a hour ago, its just recycling the air. Its up to 88 degrees. Im pregnant and HOT!

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Sounds like you may have a coolant leak. I suggest that you have someone check the outside condensing unit to see if there is ice accumulation on the coolant lines. If so, turn off the unit and allow the lines to thaw, then cycle the unit to see if you can get it cooling agin to get you through the night.

Same exact problem you have started yesterday. We suffered pretty badly on the second floor last night, so 3 of us moved down to the first floor. One of our condenser fan motors was burnt out. We called Morrisville A/C & Heating (looked in Yellow Pages) and Mike (the owner) was right out here this morning. FAST repair, fixed right, fair price.

Thank you, I got a recommendation elsewhere. Tech is on his way! My Dh is pretty handy for a computer guy but this a bit out there for him. He says the compressor hums but the fan wont run. Sounds like we have the same problem as you did.
