I am an accounting student who is hoping to move to Raleigh after graduation and am curious if anyone knows what the tops accounting firms in the city are. I know that there are the big 4 firms but I am interested in finding out about the more mid sized regional firms as well. Thanks for any insight.

Raleigh has the big 4, mid-size (RSM McGladrey, Dixon Hughes, Grant, etc.) and a ton of smaller firms. The only problem is the economy. All of the big 4 have had layoffs and seem to be continuing. McGladrey recently reduced the size of their Raleigh presence by 1/2 (layoffs). Coming out of college you should have a good chance to get a job, but keep the economy in mind. Hopefully it is rebounding and you will be fine.

Over Montana?? Really??? How sad. How could anyone be over such a beautiful state.. and especially Bozeman.

Good luck on your search though.

Yes it's true, I am over MT, not forever but for now. I grew up in MT and about to graduate from college and there is not that much opportunity in my field to stay here. On top of that, I am not a big snow fan, never have been. I can handle a little snow but the 4-5 month long winters is really starting to get me down. And as far as Bozeman, the cost of living is WAY to expensive for the rate of pay here.
