Default Building a shed in the RDU area. . .

I live in Youngsville, in Franklin County, if I want to put up a shed what do I need to do first?

Permits, size restrictions, septic system considerations?

Check with the neighborhood homeowners association management company (if there is one) for guidelines. If you live inside the town limits check with the planning dept to find out if a permit is required. If so, you will be expected to follow the building code.
