I heard a Harris Teeter will be coming to that strip. YAY! No more driivng all the way to 70 for Lowes Foods.

I might be wrong but I thought that the Flowers kids would definately stay at Riverwood Middle since those schools (both elem and middle) were created specifically for Flowers. The rest of the district will be divied up a bit with my kids going to the new Archer Lodge Middle School along with some of the Corinth Holders district.

I could be wrong about Flowers going to the new middle school. I believe the dividing line is the Neuse River. I have heard some of the Riverwood Middle School parents talking about how their kids aren't getting grandfathered into Riverwood as rising 8th graders and they are upset. I think Riverwood Middle and Elementary were built for Riverwood, and Riverdell was built as part of Flowers. I tried to google the new middle school but didn't come up with any good info.

I am a soon to be Flowers resident! We are building there. I think all of Flowers will go to the new middle school as the dividing line is the Neuse River or the road beside it. Riverwood was for the residents of Riverwood and RiverDell (elem) for the residents of Flowers. How will the new middle work out-we'll see!

The chances of Flowers being annexed by Clayton are lower because it already has its own water/sewer system etc. I think part of the HOA dues you pay go to this issue-retaining lawyers to fight Clayton annexation. Hopefully that will never happen.

Yes construction has begun on the Village and it will be nice-big country club and shops galore. Look on the flowers plantation website to see a video. They are trying to get HT interested-I really hope it will come!

Oops...a big "duh" on my part. You are right....Riverwood for Riverwood, River Dell for Flowers. My kids go to River Dell and will also be slated for the new middle school. We'll see how it goes. Great school btw.
