Default Crime in these Durham areas?

Does anyone know firsthand or from reputation about crime in these areas? Drive-bys? Drugs? Gangs?

1. E of 85/near Ferrell Rd, Carpenter, Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (Stillwood neighborhood or nearby)

2. between N Mineral Springs Rd and Stallings Road, near their intersection (Adlett Park)

3. between S Mineral Springs Rd and Sherron Rd, just S of Grove Park, in the area with no HOA

4. N of E Woodcroft Pkwy and W of 55, in the no HOA area (Nottingham)

I've used at the Durham crime map, but areas some people say are bad don't look any worse than some of the "good" ones.

Thanks!

I have lived within a 5 mile radius in the first 3 areas for the past 6 years and have not had a problem. It is really quiet on this end of town. I also lived in Woodcroft and didnt have any issues there either.

I lived in Woodcroft and had my car broken into. Mainly b/c I left out an Ipod (that didn't even work) on the front seat of a Convertible BMW and in the apartment complex parking lot. I would say that Woodcroft is an area I really wanted to live but needed 5 more grand to get into a house and didn't have it.

I ended up moving from my apartment at Park Ridge and went to Grove Park when I got my home loan together. I would say that Grove Park is great and the crimes is not really anything to worry about. Most of the things I would say are car break ins with some home break ins when no one is at home. We have 1200+ homes in Grove Park and had like 3 break ins so far this year.

If you are taling about the area off of Holder Road I would just say that I wouldn't move there from what I have seen and heard.
