Anyone know this area? I've noticed the apartments in this area are significantly less than other areas in Cary. Can anyone tell me why? I noticed the elementary school isnt the best but I'd only be there for 3-6 months with no kids in school. Is this a rough area in Cary? Rundown? Whats the deal? Should I spend the extra cash and move near crossroads or Walnut st. ???

Maynard Road is a loop around the Heart of Cary.
Which area of Maynard are you considering?
Is there any reason you want to pick apartment in Maynard road. The apartment there are really older. Some areas in morrisville on Hwy 54 are really close to Cary and have newer and better apartments. Otherwise Hidden Oaks is on Maynard is Okay. My husband stayed there for about 1 year before we got married. He stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on third floor and it had really high ceiling. It is also quite close to shopping
truthfully, no, it just wound up that some of the cheapest apts around happened to be on maynard. I was most interested in Merriwood, I've read horrible reviews on hidden oaks and a few others but Merriwood seems to lack info. Also, I will probably but in Clayton, but there are few apartments in that area too. I'm willing to take any advice on apartments around Cary, garner or clayton, thanks!
