I am looking for recommendations for a good and reliable maid/cleaning service in the Cary area. I don't mind individual recommendations if they are trustworthy and good at their work.
We haven't ever had a maid come in, so I would like to know what the costs could be. Ours is a 2500 sq ft. home w/ 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Initially, we would probably want this on a monthly basis only.
I saw some cleaning service websites recommended through this forum that also make beds or fold laundry. If I do not need certain services, is the price adjusted?
Also, what is the general etiquette to follow if you are in the house while the cleaning person is working.

I use Cary clean team, they charge by the hour. So it comes down to how much you have them do at your house. 87 a hour for a team of 3 ppl is what I pay. The clean my house in about 1 hour and it's 3700 sq ft and it's just my wife and I, so no messy kids, ect.

Whatever you do avoid the flakoids from Craig's List (and that might be most of the people who advertise housecleaning there). I hired folks from C.L. and they'd start out great and then disappear by the 3rd month--not show up and not call. My house is easy-peasy (2,000 sq ft). No more flakoids!
