We moved into Preston in February, and as yet have not decided on whether to get a social or tennis membership... The cost is exhorbitant. I would love to find a buddy who is a member to go to the pool with for the last week it's open. If you would like to have someone to go with, let me know! Thanks!

Both the social and tennis memberships include the pool. So if you're looking for someone to take you to the pool to help you make up your mind, I'm not sure how that will help.

I would call the pool and tell them you're thinking of joining. They'll very likley give a guest pass or a day pass or something. I don't belong to PW, but I've been there and it's pretty impressive. If you have kids, they'll LOVE it and they have the top summer swim team in Western Wake. At our club, we always allow potential new members to come vists and swim, especially this time of year.

I am a member. You get the pool with a social or Tennis membership (as well as with a golf membership).

I would call and tell them you are interested in joining and ask if you can try out a day pass. If not, they will at least give you a tour of the facility.

Your lifestyle is what will make it worth it.

We love the activities, pool and food options and are will to pay for it. We also have 3 kids that make it worth it for us.

Thanks to everyone for your responses! I had actually called a couple of months ago to ask for a day pass, but they said they don't give them out, and I would have to come with a guest. On Saturday, we went over to look at it, and they let us in to enjoy it. It was wonderful. I was hoping to find a member to go with for the last week they are open. We probably won't join until next year when we can enjoy the pool again. (Oh, and I wasn't trying to decide between the social and tennis memberships based on the pool... my BF plays tennis all the time but goes to CTC to do it so not sure it would be worth the extra moolah.) We have a teenager but of course she's back in school. I was laid off in Feb and hadn't been to any pools this summer and really missed it, so was looking for a buddy. Thanks again!
