It would probably work to have one going in & out of RTP at several points. Say from a couple from southern Durham, one from Apex, a couple of points in Cary and a couple from south and west Raleigh. Just a thought....but right now is probably not the time. Maybe 5 or 10 yrs from now. But the DT Raleigh and Durham areas don't really need it as much as, say, Charlotte does for instance.
