Question Where to move in Raleigh/Knightdale that is with in range with bad credit?

I am currently getting back on my feet and is looking for a place to stay. However my credit is not the best and I would love live in the N Raleigh and Knightdale area. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Perhaps you could go through a property manager/realtor or a website like craigslist.com or raleighrent.com (think that's the site). You could approach a private owner of a condo or duplex or something and offer a large deposit (1st and last month's rent plus a month's deposit) as security against your bad credit. If you have some good references that would help.
