My screened porch and new deck are well under way, and it's time to start thinking about furniture. Any recommendations for outdoor furniture stores? I'm not looking to spend a mint, but definitely need a couple really comfie pieces.

Thanks!

PS - I'm tempted to post a couple pictures of the progress, but I think I'll save it for the big reveal after it's done. I'm just tickled how it's turning out - better than I imagined, really.

We got some nice comfy porch furniture at Home Depot. Fall is a great time to buy - when seasonal stuff is being closed out.

We got ours at Plow & Hearth in North Hills. Plow & Hearth - Products for Home and Garden

You might also want to check out Summer Classics in North Raleigh near Lynn & Six Forks. We found it a little pricey, but they had a good selection and it was good for figuring out what we wanted. Summer Classics

I was at Lowes this past weekend and they had zero patio furniture - but they did have Christmas stuff! :/ I'll try to stop by Home Depot though to see if they have anything left.

We just bought a great rocking set and coffee table from Carolina Premium Outlets. We LOVE it.

Emails I received this week:

Pottery Barn Outdoor | Pottery Barn

Smith & Hawken Smith & Hawken: ALL FURNITURE NOW 50% OFF! Their outdoor furniture is 50% since they are going out of business.

Have fun enjoying the outdoors in your screened in porch and not dealing with bugs!

My bride stopped by Summer Classics yesterday as we're getting ready to build a porch too. They had a selection of discontinued furniture at 50% off but they are still pretty expensive.

I'm headed out to do a little furniture shopping today. The porch/deck construction is complete and being stained this morning. The finishing touches (including the screening) will be done on Monday. Here's a little sneak preview!
