Default Auto body repair shop recommendation?

If anyone has good experience with auto body repair in Wake or Franklin counties that was reasonably priced, I'd appreciate hearing about it. We incurred some under-fender damage from hitting a steel strip of something or other on Rt. 95 which cut and shredded the tire something awful, and that tore the plastic parts under the front fender. One dealer estimate we have is $1500. We don't plan to put in a claim to insurance, so cost really is a consideration. A good, reasonable place would be a welcome sight.

Thanks for any inputs...send pm if you like.

We've used Matthew's Body Shop several times and been happy with the results each time. They are located off Hwy 98 in Durham. Not right in Wake or Franklin counties, but close. See http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&cli...l&ct=authority for address, phone number, and their location.

gidget01 is on a distinguished road
After moving here I was rear-ended with some pretty good damage to my bumper. The driver's insurance covered everything and they sent me to Coats Auto Body on South Saunders. My experience with them was a very good one. Gave me estimate very quickly, completed repairs when promised, help with rental during time out of service and cleaned my car better than it has ever looked.
