Coffee Shops in the Triangle
Most of my time when I stop by a coffee shop, it is to do some work on my laptop. As I drive around the triangle during the week, I know of several locations that are suitable to get away from the office, do a little work, and enjoy a good cup of coffee in a spot with a good atmosphere.
Please share your experiences on such coffee shops.
Since I do more than work, I am also looking for feedback on the favorite coffee shops for meeting friends or just relaxing. Thanks for your feedback.

Its hard to find good coffee houses with good relaxing environs anymore - many have become shops with rigid chairs to encourage people to get in and out and not hang around, but there are a few good coffee shops in the area.
New World and Third Shift come to mind.

Wake Zone Espresso, Apex NC 27523
I used to go there every other day on the way to pick the kiddo up from school and loved everything that I tried there. We moved and its not around the corner anymore so I havent been there in quite awhile. It's decorated kind of cute, has Wi-Fi and even a drive thru.
There are a couple of coupons on the link too. I had to google it because I could not remember the name of it.

We go to It's a Grind in the Stone Creek Shopping Center in Cary. At High House and Davis. Here's a link:

Panera Bread has free WiFi. Each one is decorated differently so not all of them have comfy couches, but some do.

Hammocks is our favorite coffee! We use to live up the road so now it is a treat whenever we make it up that way. Not really a place I would want to hang out though.

I like to hit Helios on Glenwood DT. I am not a coffee drinker but their teas are good and they have free wireless access and both indoor and outdoor seating.
