Here's another pottery event....

4th Annual Southern Heritage Pottery & Folk Art Show

This popular event, with potters from several different states, will once again take place at the Girl Scout Learning Center in Colfax. Come join us for a day of shopping, music, food, and fun! In addition to the pottery sale, there will be a silent auction of pottery pieces. Admission and parking are free.

If you are into NC Pottery, I highly recommend you check out the work of Mark Hewitt outside Pittsboro. My Dad is big time into antiques and pottery. We first stopped by Mark's kiln back in the late 80s. He has made quite a name for himself, and his stuff is absolutely beautiful.

I just checked his website, and he has kiln open house next weekend:
