Actually -- it's not a bookstore, but in Durham there is a place that's like this. Coffee, tea, some beer/wine... live music (including a bluegrass/Americana jam one night a week), board games, etc., plus kid storytelling during the winter months. Check out Broad St. Cafe, corner of Broad St. and Club Blvd. near Ninth St.
