If you don't mind a drive, go to ReTails thrift store in Raleigh. 100 percent of their profits go to low-cost spay and neuter programs. Their website is here: ANIMALKIND They are a hard-working, wonderful, creative organization.

The link to the thrift shop is here: ** AnimalKind.org **

Excellent!! Thank you so much for the link. A very worthy cause. I don't mind a drive.

You're welcome! Make sure you check their hours. They are closed Mondays. They also have crazy sales, so check out their calendar. (For example, on the 8th of September, they had a "Henry VIII" day, and if you could sing the song, you received 50 percent off anything except furniture.)

On Sundays, clothes and shoes are 50 percent off, and on the last Sunday of every month, EVERYTHING is 50 percent off.

You drive around the back to drop off donated items.

While you're in the area, if you want to look for other bargains for yourself, you can also check out the Goodwill on the same street, and next to that is another charitable thrift shop called "Antiques to Zippers."
