I am moving from Cary 27513 to Morrisville 27560 approx.8 miles and the move consists of a 3/2 1800sf house with adults no children.Does anybody know how much this would cost and if you can recommend a few moving moving companies. I've heard to many horror stories of moving companies holding you furniture hostage for more money. Thanks Alot Randy

I've used Holloway Moving & Storage several times for local moves and have always had great service. They'll give you a quick estimate over the phone based on your description of what you have.

Furniture Cab had the cheapest prices by $25-40 per hour of anyone I received quotes from (and I called A TON of places!!! like, 12 I think). Didn't end up using a mover this time; we're doing it ourselves Saturday! Good luck w/ your move!

We used TROSA and absolutely recommend them. We moved from FL to Morrisville and had PODS and just used them to unload our stuff. We were their 4th...yes, 4th...move that day and these guys had to haul stuff in some cases to the 3rd floor of our house! They did it in super fast time and with a real sense of humor and professionalism. We just loved them. And, the tip we gave turned out to be a donation since it's a nonprofit organization....nice for taxes!
