Default How will renaissance park and olde town raleigh affect tryon pines and villages of tryon?

I am a first time homebuyer thinking of buying in tryon pines or villages of tryon, not far from where renaissance park will be located (near 401 and tryon). Will the thousands of new homes (condos and detatched homes from the look of plans) in these development help or hurt values of relatively new detached homes in these neighborhoods? How about ability to sell a few years in the future? I would appreciate any feedback you can offer.
