Sorry I forgot my contact # we opened auto body shop nearby and live in Cornerstone Apts
in Highhouse rd.. we have found a Cuban restaurant and dancing club and have also met other Cubans here...our business# 919-542-0116

Nope, well nothing like what you see down south. Moved from Weston to Cary last May... The one Cuban restaurant I tried in Cary (Havana Grill) was pretty sad.

There are Cubans in the Triangle area (don't know about Cary specifically, but imagine there are some). I personally know several from Miami who have been here at least three years.

The thing is that they don't wear signs indicating that they are Cubans, so maybe that is why some people don't realize they are here.

You really think so? The owners are Cubans from Miami. I think their croqueta preparada is pretty good.

FWIW, I'm not Cuban... But yes, I didn't like it too much.. wasn't horrible or anything, but it was a sure miss in comparison to what I've had down south.
