I have an old power supply and video card I need to dispose of. Does anyone know of a place in Raleigh where I can take them? Bonus if it's near north Raleigh.

They go to an electronics recycler for processing along with discarded TV sets and other electronic devices that can't go into the landfill.

And not over seas to Taiwan or China where children melt the circuit boards for the gold and break the monitor tubes for the heavy metal right?

They are recycled by companies right here in NC such as Geep and Synergy Recycling. Various salvage materials are separated out and resold to other companies for uses in industry and manufacturing of new products.

This is where I ended up going. The landfill in North Raleigh had places to dispose of just about any form of household refuse.

I know this is an old thread but I was trying to edit my previous post on the subject since I discovered today while looking it up that I typed in the incorrect domain on my old post. The company in Raleigh is TechnologyRecyclers.Net - TECHNOLOGYRECYCLERS.NET at 919-647-9624 I tried to contact the admin about editing my previous post but so far have not gotten a response
