Default Mothers Morning Out Programs

I was looking for a church in the Durham (Southpoint Mall area) or in Chapel Hill area that offers a good Mother Morning Out program. We are new to this area and need some help.
Thanks!

I do not know any specific programs (I know, helpful, right!), but I would suggest picking up a copy of the carolina parent magazine (they are free) and looking on their website carolinaparent.com and you can find lots of great information on there.

I would also suggest going to the trianglemommies.com website and browse around their forum (very active) you can join the group and they have separate subgroups for different areas of the triangle (north raleigh, durham, chapel hill) they have even started a triangledads.com group as well (there are a number of stay at home dads in the group.

Anyhow, they host playgroups, parents night out, etc. Hopefully you can connect with some people there who can give you the scoop!

If all else fails, you can try "Right Time Kids". I'm not sure if there is one in your area. We take our son to the one in Morrisville. Basically it's a by-the-hour daycare. I believe that it costs about $8/hour, but you can pre-pay for multiple hours and get a discount. My wife uses it when she gets her hair cut, or goes to a job interview, etc. We also use it on the weekend every once in a while for a date night.

Welcome to Durham!

Check out the Durham Mothers Club http://durham-mothers-club.org/

They publish a directory of preschools, which I think includes PMOs. The list is active, though, and lots of recommendations for things like that. (Sorry, I wish I could remember one off the top of my head... I'm thinking Epworth Methodist Church on Hope Valley has one.)
