Thumbs up Fuquay-Varina celebrates 100th anniversary

Happy birthday to us.

Fuquay-Varina celebrates 100th anniversary :: WRAL.com

"Fuquay-Varina, N.C. — Fuquay-Varina is hosting a yearlong celebration of the 100th anniversary of the town's incorporation.
The town was chartered on March 6, 1909, as just Fuquay. A merger in 1963 christened it as Fuquay-Varina.
Mayor John Bryne said the town has come a long way in the past century. He predicted that its businesses have a bright future."
