Everyone has been so helpful! I really appreciate all the helpful suggestions and links. This has been so hard... and overwhelming. I'm going to just keep this open and go through the links one by one. Thanks again all!

Caregivers tend to burn out very quickly especially when dealing with dementia. Encourage him to seek and take support from lots of different sources. Respite programs are so great for caregivers too. Just some time off from the constant state of alert he has to be in when caring for your Mom can be energizing. Good luck and best wishes.

no kudzu,
Thanks for that suggestion. He is having a rough time handling it, which is why I'm trying to help out anyway I can... I'll look into resources for him too. Thanks again.
