So the cliff notes are, I'm a single girl in Raleigh and I was wondering, where do all the single people go on a Friday/Saturday night?

I've been to a few sushi bars and it seems people are always in couples there.

I've been to the Ess Lounge and it was completely dead at 11pm. I didn't stick around.

Where is the hot spot?

i like to check out the places on glenwood south and fayetteville st... but then again im married. but i guess if you're a single young girl, i should say that the place to be is my place when my wife is out of town.
(jk for many, many reasons... but there are theoretically places. the flying saucer, solas if you like that kind of thing, tir na nog, etc.)

Try Meetup.com and see where all the people in the singles groups are going.

For downtown, when is almost as important as where. I know when I used to hang out downtown, and out in CH, Thursday and Saturday nights were the only ones anyone was out. Friday was "date night".
