I'm relocating from Massachusetts and sad that I can't find one outdoor fitness/bootcamp class in the area outside of Triangle Fitness in Cary. I will be living in Durham and Cary is too far to travel in the morning. Does anyone know anything about group outdoor fitness elsewhere? My current bootcamp meets in a public park M-T from 6am-7am and it is a great way to start the day. Thanks in advance!

Durham is too far from Cary? You must want something in the back yard then! Good luck!

I'm sorry, I meant that Triangle Fitness is in Raleigh, not Cary and a map search says over 30 minutes in the morning which isn't ideal. Thanks for the suggestion on the meet up groups.

I'm not sure if it's the same one you're talking about but I went to triangle adventure bootcamp. I LOVE Jennifer and it was a great workout for any woman, regardless of prior activity level. trianglebootcamp.com

Try Raleigh/Durham Boxing Fitness Workout, Raleigh/Durham KickBoxing Fitness Workout, Raleigh/Durham MMA Class, Raleigh/Durham Fitness Training

I don't go there, but I know the owner. I work on the clubs Vans, and when I drop them off at the club i have been inside and watched for a few minutes.

I served in the Army, and the programs looked similar.

It's not a smoothie serving "look at my pecs" club.

Last time I was there the group was doing Sledge Hammer Training and it looked like a helluva workout to me.

They also offer Kettle Bells which I heard work good (or are murder depending on who you ask lol).

Owners name is Rick Harper

Ricky Harper is great but pricey. To each it's own. Brigitte Spurgeon has bootcamps and running camps in a.m. and p.m., reasonably priced and it's done at Brier Creek park which is about 7 to 10 minutes from Durham. I live in RTP (Durham) area and it takes me literally 7 minutes. Google her. She's on facebook and has her own website. Good Luck!!
