Default Disposal repair/replacement?

Is it really illegal to repair or replace my disposal if I live in Raliegh?

Great, thanks! I just read about the repeal. Interesting that that didn't get as much news play as the original ban.

Can anyone recommend a good plumber in the South-West Raleigh (Crossroads) area? It seams to have a leaky seal or two. Not sure if it needs a wholesale replacement or not.

Thanks!
