My mom knows someone who lives in the area. Here is what I know without going into too many details. The man who built the house built it for his wife, because it was her dream house. Unfortunately she died and never got to live in the house and he did not want to live in the house w/o her because it was too sad for him. It is a beautiful house however. Wish I could afford it!
I would like you to be my agent, I have a full cash offer waiting on that house.
That's funny. I think...?

I wish someone would buy this home and turn it into supportive housing for the needy. What a waste of space and natural resources for a singe-family home.

We used to watch American Castles on A&E. It seems like the people always died before they were able to enjoy their homes.

That's interesting. My parents lived near the Discount Tire widow in MI. She built a house like this on Little Traverse Bay--no expense spared, no detail overlooked. I believe she was only in it for two summers before she passed away. I guess there must be a lot of money in tires.
Beautiful home. Can't imagine what the annual upkeep on a place like that is--especially the grounds.
