We pay $1225/month for full-time (5 days a week, all day) for a 3 year old at a Goddard School in Raleigh - but he's not quite potty trained yet. We're working on it..once he is, it should drop down to $1095/month I believe.

Default Goddard School infant tuition

I have seen a lot of comments on here regarding tuition and programming for toddlers and pre-k age children. Does anyone know how much tuition is in the Durham/Raleigh area for full time infant care?

Whoa....those rates seem high compared to what we are paying here in FL. Guess I better sort out what we will do to make up the difference when we relocate to Raleigh. We were thinking of Goddard, I guess I need to go check it out and do some comparing.

Wake Forest Goddard is currently at $1025 for an almost 5 year old full time (5 full days per week). They include morning and afternoon snack but not lunch. We love it there and have always been very happy with all of the staff and facilities.

Our daycare is $943 for 4/5 year olds. They charge $1,301 for infants under 12 months. We do get a 10% discount through my wife's work, so it comes out to $849 a month. I can't complain, since we really like it and his teachers are exceptional. Both of the full time preschool teachers have bachelor's degrees and both used to teach elementary school. Excellent teachers all around!

I hope you find the place you can afford and is the fit for your child. It does not have to be a fancy Name school , the only way to chose is look them over in person several times, and then talk to the teacher that will be your child teacher, Yes add in if the do lunch/snack/ etc, Many time you can find a local well run center, Talk with parents old and now enrolled , Also think about the school year will they have to change when they start to school or will they transport? Looking on line can give you some input but In person will be the true test , Lot of churches here have great programs , ( price does not always get the best ) Ps I am A retired Teacher,

My wife is an assistant Teacher at The Goddard School. She tells me stories every night about the kids and how much they all love it there. They are actually doing a play today, these are 4 yr olds, they are all useing sign language and Spanish in the play. Yes, 4yr olds. I don't even know Sign language and Spanish. Guess my wife should teach me.lol. I think prices are around $900 for her school in NJ.
