That's great! I see that you have to attend an info session and then submit your
clinical appl by Jan 31, for fall 2010 to be accepted into the program. Sounds like you plan to start with general ed coursework(?) If you don't transfer in Anatomy & Physiology credits, be prepared for a class with lots of memorization needed -hint: all bones, and ligament insertion/origin points. Unless things have changed, you'll get to do practical (Clinical) training at WakeMed - you'll be prepared for anything after that experience! At one time they used to rotate nursing students thru Dorothea Dix Mental Hospital near downtown for their psych training. But, they've moved some pts to the new facility out of town, not sure how they do it all now. You'll love it! Wake's program is very good!
