Recently relocated to NC. Looking for a Furniture Store. Please Help!
I have visited Haverty's, Rooms To Go,and Ashley furniture stores. I would like to know if there are any additional stores I may have missed, before making a final decision. Please advice?
Thank You, Yes I've been up and down Glenwood Ave and back and fourth I must say I didn't find that many stores, but I will take my time and your print out, tomorrow now that I have a better idea.
We've bought a kitchen table/chairs and a couch from Home Comfort in Cary on Kildaire Farm Road. Their selection is varied and I thought better for a store that is smaller than Rooms to Go. There's also Wayside Furniture on Hillsborough Street near the state fairgrounds (it's in the funky roadway split, at the traffic light next to Triangle Rental Cars). They have a large selection of stuff. Did you try Whitley's Furniture in Zebulon? They have more discounted high-end furniture lines and is easier to get to now that I-540 and US64 bypass are open.

There are certainly alternatives to the Glenwood Avenue stores - from High Point, Hickory, Zebulon, and locally. Search this forum and you'll turn up various discussions about area furniture stores.
There are so many places depending on what you're looking for, temporary furniture as in lasting 5 to 7 years, or longterm well made pieces? I highly recommend that you check Boyle's and also Hickory Furniture Mart. Both have online websites and while Boyle's is both local and has several locations in and around the area, HFM is about 2.5 hours from here but well worth the trip if you're buying more than a couple pieces. You can get quality furniture at the prices you'll pay for junk if you know where to look. PM me if you need further help.
We've liked Bassett, Homegoods, and Ethan Allen in the past. There are a few furniture stores up Capital Blvd in Raleigh, between the MiniCity area and 540--probably really closer to 540 and the Triangle Town Ctr. mall.
