Default too good to be true? $6/day park and ride at RDU Airport?

I'm going home for Thanksgiving and want to leave my car at the airport to avoid the hassle of getting friends to take me. The website says it's $6 a day for the park and ride...really? I was expecting something closer to $20. I'll be leaving my car for 3 days, what a deal! Is it really this cheap??

Yep, $6 per day in the remote lots and $10 per day in the covered daily parking closer to the terminals. If your flights are at normal times and you won't be tired, go with the remote parking - the bus ride isn't bad. If you're rushed, pay a little more to park closer.

Fast Park & Relax. Here. Try $4.55 / day - covered parking With free newspapers, bottled water, and a car wash upon your return. Outstanding service.

Ditto on Fast Park & Relax. I use it everytime I fly out of RDU now.

I, too, was amazed when I first flew out of both RDU and CLT that their daily parking is so cheap. I was used to paying more before moving to NC.

CLT is even cheaper than RDU at $4 per day for their remote lots, and $6 per day for their covered (parking garage) parking.

I use fast park and relax and like it, cheap and easy. At your car at about the same time as parking right next to the airport.

Fast Park and Relax. In addition to what others have said, they pick you up and drop you off AT your car, so no toting luggage around. They follow you in, and are waiting for you. When you pop your trunk, they will have your luggage before you can click the remote lock, and they have pickups at the airport every two minutes or so, so NO WAITING.

And the spaces are "mostly covered", which is nice. Park there, and tell all your friends. I love this place, and want to see it succeed. So much better than RDU parking.

I might park there when I head out of town this weekend just for the free car wash!
