Default looking for homeless shelters for single mothers

paece and blessings im looking for a shelter for my daughter and myself without my husband knowing. we are a muslim familey im open to some suggestion. thank you

Sorry for your situation. I don't know of exact shelters per se, but maybe you can find some help at the Islamic Center? Here is the link:

I'm not sure if they take children, but it's worth asking... The Helen Wright Center for Women 256-2178. Those who stay there can stay at least 2 months and there are case managers who help you find permanent housing after that.

Try calling Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network, Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network, 832-6024. On Sunday they will only have volunteers there but staff will be there Monday morning.

Within Orange County, the best place to start is the Interfaith Council. They have a Homestart facility that provides housing for women and children.
