Default Nash Co Home - realtors?

Okay....we've had our home on the market since Mid July. It's funny, because I LOVE the house, and have faith in it....but it just won't sell. We honestly haven't even shown it much.

Our realtor first was only listed in Wilson MLS, and joined Rocky Mount mls in February or so. She said she's going to be listed in Raleigh soon (she said that in January too...is there some kind of test she hasn't passed yet?)

Anyway. We've given her to mid-June. She's tried really hard, lots of local advertisements, TONS of open houses (poorly attended). Own web site.

Any other suggestions? And, if we get a new realtor, do you think we'd be better off switching to a primarily rocky mount MLS, or Raleigh MLS?

Oh...we're near the intersection of 97 and 581, on a private road (so can't be mapquested). wwwdot5854roseheathrddotcom.

Thanks for any suggestions!

It costs a grand or two to join a different MLS....that may account for the delay.

As a Triangle area agent, I can tell you that Triangle MLS includes Nash County but does not really respresent Nash well. Use a Rocky Mount agent if you want to relist. You might also want to try posting a Craigslist....free and effective..can't beat that combination.

Have you considered offering to pay closing costs? Keep in mind , the easier you make it for a buyer to buy your property, the better off you'll be
