short-term rental-Hope Vallley or SW elementary (Charlotte, Durham: hair salon, apartment complex, month-to-month)

My family is moving to the Triangle from Austin TX this summer. (I'm actually an NC native, from Charlotte originally) We need to find a short-term or month-to-month lease on a nice apartment in a Durham neighborhood zoned for Southwest or Hope Valley Elementary schools until we can find a house to buy. We need a place that is kid-friendly and accepts dogs.

I've been admiring an apartment complex called Woods Edge on 751. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and a really pretty black iron fence, and is a very short walk to the Woodcroft Shopping Center which has restaurants, a Food Lion, a hardware store, a hair salon, and other little shops. It would be districted to SW Elementary.
