Triangle-ites: I'm still fairly new here and haven't ventured around too much, so I was hoping for a little help here.
I need to visit someone who is at Duke Univ. Medical Center where they just had heart surgery this week. I've searched Duke website and see it's a huge complex. What would be wonderfully helpful for me is an exact street address that would get me to the right building (via GPS) and directions / info about parking, etc. I would SOOOOO appreciate it.
My guess is you will want to enter Duke Hospital at the Erwin Road/Fulton Street entrance. This is the main entrance to the hospital, and there is a parking deck across the street that you can use.
Plug this address into your GPS and it will take you right to the main entrance of the hospital, where there is a loop and valet parking if you want to go that route. The parking deck, as RFB said, is right across the street and very obvious. As you face out on Erwin Road with your back to Duke Hospital, the VA hospital (big brick building) is on the left of Fulton St, and the parking deck is on the right. Fulton makes a "T" with Erwin Rd, and that's where you want to be.
Thanks everyone....I've easily and successfully been there and back now. I sure appreciate how helpful this forum is for so many varied things.
