Most of the shows seemed to be in Canada. I was surprised to see Raleigh featured. The agent was Christina Cummings of Keller Williams. Has anyone worked with her?

Ok now...don't laugh. The people that film that show "Buy Me" called my office and asked if any agents were interested. The LAST THING I want is my butt on national TV! One of the agents from my office did the show and said she wore BLACK SLACKS the entire time. She thought the publicity would be beneficial. She said they will film ONE SCENE over and over until they get it right. They filmed her pulling into the driveway and she kept missing her "mark" but finally got it right. The BAD THING is that the house featured still hasn't sold so they can't film the ending!!!

Vicki, the thing with "Buy Me" is that it doesn't have to have a happy ending. In many episodes, that show ends with the house unsold & the owners still wringing their hands in desperation. It's really a heart-breaking show! I always feel a little guilty when I watch it ... as if I'm rubber-necking while driving past a really bad car accident. Even so, I really wish I'd caught last night's episode!

When I was getting my house ready to sell that show always made me have bad dreams! Now I too feel like a rubber-necker so I just can't watch it anymore. I mean even the show's music has that creepy under tone.

The owners are never realistic about the price, that's why the houses don't sell...Realtors roll their eyes because they see the same behavior again and again.

It's not always a price thing. Sometimes they refuse to do needed repairs. Or update a really funky looking house - wallpaper, carpet, etc. I stopped watching the show b/c it was stressing me out, and I've never sold a house before hehe.

My husband watched it once with me, and refuses to have it on when he is around. He says it is too depressing. It is, and it isn't good to watch when you are trying to sell a house, but as previous posters have said, it is like watching something you don't want to see, but you cannot stop yourself.

I'm confused, what is the problem with 'BLACK SLACKS'?

Maybe it's a clue in the post with all caps...'LAST THING...BLACK SLACKS...ONE SCENE...BAD THING'.

PDX you are so right about the music on that show, not to mention that sketchy looking host with the sinister voice...I saw the Raleigh episode and according to the HGTV web site they have filmed seven shows in Raleigh as well as shows in Chicago and Dallas.

I thought the house did sell in the episode last night!?!? It was the one with the guy who proposed to his girlfriend in Hawaii, right? I think it sold close to the asking price...
