Speaking of cabins, there are several sprinkled around Cary/Morrisville on properties currently being developed for commercial use. There are two right off the Hwy 54 exit off Hwy 540, and IIRC there is another one at the corner of the Davis Drive/Highhouse Road property (Bojangles side).

Who would I contact to find out the history on those? I'm assuming they won't (or can't) be demolished, so wonder if they're going to move them or leave them on-site?

If you knew the address you could look up the current owners on Wake I-maps and try contacting them.
