Is there anywhere to exchange coin for cash for free?

We are using this money for Christmas gifts so I like the gift card option with the machines and I think we'll go that route.

We estimate it to be about $400 in coin so while it may be "free" to roll myself, it requires a lot of time which I do not have right now.

me and the wife spent about 2 hours one night sorting and rolling coins, making a good time out of it and spending time together. We walked into BOA with all the rolls and they did not even hesitate to take them. The teller had a coin thing, she put each roll in to verify it was the right length I guess and deposited it with no problems.

Make it fun, if you have kids give each of them a different coin to sort and make the best of it.

I rolled 450+ dollars in coin wrappers and brought them to the Bank of America branch in Fuquay and got 450+ dollars in cash. No account numbers on rolls just counted them and got back cash.
