I've never been to the Durham Performing Arts Center, but plan to jump at the chance to see a Beatle. How is the seating. In looking at the chart, I assume grand tier overlaps the orchestra. Is it better to get back orchestra or front grand tier.
I always get the cheapest tickets. All the way up top. I have only been to one show that was completely sold out.
I usually move down after the 1st intermission because most of the time there are plenty of empty seats. I've been to one show where the ushers told us to move down because of the many empty seats.
From personal experience front grand tier is the better seat. I doubt there will be any empty seats in the house for this show seeing as many of the concerts sell out; so get those tickets ASAP. Enjoy
Anyone else out there feel the stage at DPAC is a bit small?
For the width of the theater, and the number of seats it just seems like the stage is alot smaller than it had to be.

Just don't select a seat in the center, front row of the Grand Tier. Through random circumstances, I've been seated here twice. And, each time, different apparati such as lighting were blocking my view. Couldn't change seats as it was a "full house."

Thanks for the tip, guess I'll try left/right.
