Hi everyone,

Can someone let me know who the best OB is in Raleigh. I have 2 children and had my last one in Greenville and I never saw the same doctor twice except for the chief resident and luckly he was there the night I was induced for labor. Just looking for a better experience than my previous one. It was a nightmare. Thanks for any tips or advise. I need anything you got!

I like Associates in Womens Healthcare- Mary Frances Moody. You may not see her each time, but it's a good (small) practice. (all women docs)

In this area, (at least to my knowledge) it is unheard of to find any OB's in private practice so you'll always see someone different and get who's on call when you deliver. I know this information was quite a shock to me when I moved from out of state seven months along. All the docs there are in private practice and they'd be the one to deliver unless the baby came to quickly.

I'm using Cary OB-Gyn. I go to their office in Clayton, they have ~4 doctors that rotate through. I've been pleased with my OB visits thus far.

We used these guys:
Atrium Obstetrics & Gynecology

Drs. Haakensen and Henderson are terrific guys, and they delivered both of our sons at Rex. My wife still goes to Dr. Henderson for all that "girl stuff" and she likes him (as well as the others) very much.

I had an absolutely awful experience with Total Health, Total Woman. I found them to be strictly business with zero bedside manner. At a time when I needed them most, they weren't there for me. I won't completely slam them on here, but if anyone wants my story, PM me.

Try Dr. Welch in Cary. That's where I'm going next. I've heard nothing but good things from many friends who used him. Single doctor practice. Brannon and Rogers in Cary also has good recomendations-only 2 doctors in that practice.
