I promise I did a search first but wanted to post a new thread because I'm looking for an orthodontist who is experienced in adult orthodontics - Chapel Hill/Durham/Cary/Morrisville preferred, but would drive to Raleigh too if needed.

I had a bad experience with one and now need to start all over again

Thanks

I was impressed with Dr. Bovenizer in Cary. He's got a lot of experience working with adults. Zaytoun did too, but was crazy expensive.

The internet reviews of Dr. Land are not good and that's all I'm probably allowed to say here.

Will check out the others. Thanks all

Dr Charles Ashley Mann in downtown Cary. He does orthod and cosmetic. I know someone who go to him, they rave over him. A very sweet humble man who gives back to the community in many ways most don't know of.

I had my teeth done a few years back and recommend Zaytoun. They were wonderful. I actually had three visits. The first guy told me my jaw needed to be cracked and re-set to get the teeth all straight, plus 4 teeth needed to be removed.

The second guy told me he could do it without the jaw surgery, but that he'd need to pull at least 2 teeth.

Zaytoun said he thought he could do it with at most 2 teeth being pulled and definitely 100% no surgery. I went with Zaytoun and now I have 28 perfectly straight, beautiful teeth. (I had my wisdoms removed during my teenage years - i.e. Zaytoun got the job done without a single tooth being pulled).

Don't ask me who the first two were...if you mentioned their names I could probably say yes or no, but I don't remember offhand.
